During the research for my book I found that 3rd generation businesses had the following in common: a culture that believed in family value over market value. a process to build pride in the family business at home. a new management style for the next generation. a conflict resolution procedure and a planned stock gifting program.
I have prepared this information in a one to two hour PowerPoint presentation that is given to University Family Business Forums and Trade Associations. It is interactive, entertaining and informative.
My lectures have been given to Family Business Programs at: Northeastern University, Rutgers University, Marquette University, Santa Clara University, University of New Haven, University of Kentucky, University of Toledo, University of Delaware, University of Massachusetts, University of Wisconsin, Kings College and Temple University.
And Industry Associations: International Car Wash Association, Mass Mutual Life Insurance Company, Estate Planning Council of Indianapolis, The Union Central Life Insurance Company, Frosty Acres Brand Inc., The Family Firm Institute, The Small Business Association of New England, The YPO International, Family Business Institute of Houston and Family Business Center of Central Ohio.
